European prefabricated substation.

In terms of use, this is probably the most widely used type of prefabricated substation. Their modular design makes it very convenient to manufacture and install them. The equipment is completely reserved in the factory, and the appearance style is more diversified, which can greatly meet all the needs of customers. European prefabricated substations are widely used in 10kv~20kv power supply and distribution. European box type transformer generally consists of high-voltage switchgear, power transformer, low-voltage switchgear, etc.

European box type transformer substation can also be subdivided into national grid standardized box type transformer substation, compact box type transformer substation, alternative box type transformer substation, etc. At present, European box type transformer substation is widely used, and its safety performance and stability are also excellent.

American prefabricated substation.

This is also a kind of box type substation. It has been introduced into China successively with the European box type substation. The American box type substation is different from the European box type substation in shape and generally smaller than the European box type substation. The American box type substation is a substation equipment that combines transformers, high-voltage load switches, fuses, etc. Therefore, they have another name called combined box type transformer substation. In China, the use of American box type transformer substation is relatively much less.

Buried substation.

That is, the prefabricated substation buried underground. According to the needs, it can be divided into semi buried type and fully buried type. The former is generally used for power supply of municipal construction and landscape architecture. Therefore, it is also called landscape box type substation. The latter is to bury all the pre installed box transformers into the underground containers, and use them after waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment.

Miniaturized box type substation

This is actually based on the specific products in the alternative box type substation design scheme. It belongs to the scope of European box type transformer substation, but it is quite special. They occupy less land, have different internal structures, are more personalized in appearance, and have a high degree of intelligent control. They are one of the representative products of modern and future prefabricated substations.
